Over decades of working with babies, children and parents, I have seen that the concern a family brings is rarely only about the child.
A child’s development, temperament and nervous system matter. So do the stress each parent is carrying, the way they were raised, the expectations they have brought into family life and what happens between the adults when everyone feels overwhelmed.
This is why I look beyond behaviour in isolation. I help parents understand what may be happening for their child, what is being activated within themselves and how the wider family dynamic is influencing the situation.
My approach brings together professional knowledge, emotional awareness and grounded intuition. I do not give families a rigid method to follow. I help them understand the different parts of the picture so they can make more considered decisions for their own child and family.

• I believe parents need support too, not simply more advice about how to manage their child.
• I am deeply interested in the way child development, nervous systems, attachment, past experiences and relationships all shape family life.
• I believe professional knowledge and intuition can sit alongside one another, while remaining clear about what the evidence can and cannot tell us.
• I value honest, non-judgemental conversations where each parent’s experience can be understood without reducing the situation to who is right.
• Nature helps me stay grounded. Ocean swims, gardening, long walks, music and quiet time often give me the space to think more clearly.
• I want parents to leave my support with a clearer understanding of what is happening in their family and a more considered way forward.
